Childfree Couples on Good Morning America

I appreciated this video, but I feel that Deborah and Chris(?) both seemed a tad uncomfortable at the--shock!--idea that someone might want to remain childfree. Obviously b/c they both have children, the CF lifestyle is just not on their radar. It cracks me up how they HAVE to stress that these couples "really DO love kids!" as though if they did not, they'd be reprehensible humans! While I appreciate many children, I don't love them all, and I'm okay with that. And if I really disliked them, that would be okay, too. I think it's all about respecting the very wide range of choices, from parents to the CF folks who really do not feel a bond with children.
I am glad that she touched on that having children does not mean someone will take care of you when you get old. Just ask the majority of people in a nursing home . . .
