Except chicken eggs generally aren't fertilized, so they are just the egg portion prior to becoming a zygote that could grow into a chick. Since there aren't males around in most large chicken egg "factories," there's little chance anyone's eating chicken fetuses. (I still get the irony of the idea, even if the likelihood of similarity isn't really there.) ;) It can still happen if your eggs come from smaller farms, of course, where they have a more natural system of keeping chickens. (Farm girly info from a former farm girly. :D )
